A teenage boy launched a 15kg chair off the top floor of Westfield shopping centre, narrowly missing shoppers below, as part of an internet prank.

Prosecutor Elizabeth Ajayi said the chair, which was worth 500, was thrown from the top floor. "It's fortunate that nobody was injured," she said.
