The Spanish-language power ballad about longing for a lover that has been lost went to the top of Billboard's Hot Latin Songs and became one of Martin's most successful tunes at the time.

Laboureau can most often be found in his Argentinian restaurant, Fuegos LA, which he operates with his partner in love and business, Maximilian Pizzi. But with years of experience in production design and fashion, he recently found himself dreaming up the inside of Bad Bunny's casita, a set piece previously seen only from the exterior during the Grammy Award-winning rapper and singer's "No Me Quiero Ir De Aqui" residency in Puerto Rico.

It's rare for interpreters' cultural background to reflect the music itself, says AV Vilavong, a Deaf concert interpreter who performs at major music festivals across the country. "The fact that Celimar is Puerto Rican, there are cultural nuances that are already embedded in how she, as a Deaf interpreter, will match the tone, the cultural aspects, the songs, the significance behind the slang for particular vocabulary," Vilavong says through an interpeter. "It's embedded in who she is as an individual."

"Tonight we're going to play some music for the players, the players know. When they hear it, they can hear the drums and all that, because we're gonna be close to them."

In a letter announcing the cancellation, organizers cited "the rapidly changing political climate" as the primary reason for not proceeding with this year’s festival.
