A Michigan federal judge is facing trial on drunk driving charges after a crashing in October and showing a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit, according to press reports. Judge Thomas L. Ludington of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan faces misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.17 or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, according to the complaint filed by a local prosecutor.

Five pro-Palestinian activists have pleaded not guilty to breaking into a British military air base and damaging two planes in protest against the UK's support for Israel's war in Gaza. The five are accused of breaking into the Brize Norton Royal Air Force base in central England in June and spraying red paint over two Voyager aircraft used for refuelling and transport.

Victoria McCloud, the UK’s first transgender judge, is challenging the Supreme Court ruling on biological sex in a case at the European Court of Human Rights. McCloud argues the Supreme Court undermined her rights under Article 6 by not allowing her participation and failing to consider evidence from any transgender groups.
