The Washington Commanders are hoping to be refreshed and recharged after their Week 12 bye, as they look to end their six-game losing skid on Sunday Night Football against the Denver Broncos. It provided a much-needed opportunity for head coach Dan Quinn and his staff to re-evaluate expectations moving forward. The Commanders aren't going to make the playoffs. Therefore, the remaining six games should focus on developing young players who can help Washington in the long run.
Adam Peters raised eyebrows around the league when he spent his sixth-round selection on linebacker Kain Medrano. His athleticism isn't in question, but his erratic college production meant it was always going to be a work in progress. This proved to be the case, although the UCLA product did enough to comfortably make the 53-man roster. Medrano is incredibly raw technically.
