Strip Law centers on Lincoln Gumb (Adam Scott), a down-on-his-luck lawyer who was recently fired from his family firm by his dead mother's former law partner, Steve Nichols (Keith David). Gumb's new firm, which is staffed by his wayward teenage niece Irene Gumb (Aimee Garcia) and a disbarred old eccentric named Glem Blorchman (Stephen Root), is on the verge of going out of business because Gumb's unflashy lawyering style can't keep the attention of Vegas's overstimulated judges and juries.
After all, he turned author Rachel Reid's beloved but niche-interest Game Changers books into a modestly budgeted six-episode season for Canadian streamer Crave, which became an overnight global sensation. The director of Goodfellas and Casino will serve as executive producer for a new Netflix series set in Las Vegas from Billions creators Brian Koppelman and David Levien. The series is currently untitled (probably because the title Casino was already taken), but here's the official description:
"I think that he does know that he's gone. Eventually, he knows that he's not there anymore. So far it's a small part of the second season. We have to see what the one-off thing that they're planning on doing with the Punisher, that should be interesting to see."
