In deeply disappointing news, Falcons EDGE James Pearce Jr. was arrested on Saturday on domestic violence-related charges. The list of charges is lengthy. Pearce is charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon (domestic violence), one count of aggravated stalking (domestic violence), one count of aggravated battery of a police officer, one count of fleeing or eluding police with lights and sirens on, and one count of resisting arrest without violence toward an officer.

Carolina Panthers safety Tre'von Moehrig's one-game suspension for striking San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings in the groin area has been upheld on appeal, the league announced Wednesday night. Moehrig, who coach Dave Canales said is dealing with an ankle injury, will miss Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. The suspension will cost Moehrig $65,000, or an 18th of his $1.17 million salary.

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase has been given a one-game suspension without pay for spitting on Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey. Reports claim Chase will review the decision, with the case set to be reviewed by either Derrick Brooks, Ramon Foster or Jordy Nelson, the jointly appointed hearing officers for the NFL and NFLPA. If his suspension is upheld, Chase would miss Cincinnati's Week 12 matchup against the New England Patriots.

Denver Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw's one-game suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct toward a referee has been upheld on appeal, the league announced Tuesday. Greenlaw will miss Denver's home game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. In announcing Greenlaw's suspension on Monday, the NFL said he "chased after referee Brad Allen and verbally threatened him as he tried to leave the field" following the Broncos' win against the New York Giants at Mile High Stadium.

The Arizona Cardinals are fining coach Jonathan Gannon $100,000 for his sideline altercation Sunday with running back Emari Demercado, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Demercado dropped the football before crossing the goal line on what would've been a 72-yard touchdown run in an eventual loss to the Tennessee Titans. After the fumble, video circulated on social media showing Gannon yelling in Demercado's face before swiping his arm downward, appearing to jostle Demercado.
