On Monday Night Football in Week 2, the Buccaneers were on the road to face the Texans. After both teams scored on each of their first two possessions, it became a defensive battle. In the end, Baker Mayfield led Tampa Bay on a game-winning drive vs. Houston. They won 20-19 and are 2-0 to begin the season. During the second quarter of Monday night's win, Buccaneers starting defensive lineman Calijah Kancey suffered a pectoral injury.

San Francisco failed to reach its true potential last season because the team had several long-term injuries. Most notably, All-Pro RB Christian McCaffrey missed 13 games for the 49ers. He was dealing with an Achilles tendon and PCL injury. During the 2025 offseason, McCaffrey stayed healthy for San Francisco. That was until Thursday's injury report. Insiders reported that Christian McCaffrey was limited at practice due to a calf injury.

FRISCO, Texas -- As the Dallas Cowboys look to get down to the 53-man roster limit, veteran offensive lineman La'el Collins has been among the players told he will be released, a source told ESPN. Collins joined the Cowboys during training camp after injuries on their offensive line to Tyler Guyton (knee), Rob Jones (neck) and Saahdiq Charles (knee). Collins played right and left tackle during the preseason games.

"He understands what we're trying to do with him. He's working his [butt] off to get back, but we want to make sure that we have that player for the long haul."

Tyjae Spears is expected to be out for a few weeks due to a high ankle sprain he suffered during the preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

'I don't want to be wrong about anything, so I ain't going to be the one to say it,' said Reed, who has been the Packers' leading receiver each of the last two seasons.
