A man in New York City had his face slashed in an alleged anti-LGBTQ+ attack, after he kissed his boyfriend on the subway. The incident took place at around 7.50pm on January 10 when the 28-year-old male victim was on a southbound No. 6 train which was approaching 23rd Street Station, the New York Police Department (NYPD). As the train was moving, the victim and the unknown assailant got into what the NYPD described as a "verbal dispute" involving anti-LGBTQIA+ statements.
