Hisense TVs offer extensive picture settings for optimal viewing, including presets and advanced options for customization.
TCL is known for its budget TVs, but in recent years, it has delivered some jaw-dropping models and consistently rolled out excellent hardware that often rivals far more expensive sets. My issue, however, is that most TCL TVs ship with default settings that do not give you the best picture, performance, or privacy protections at home. Luckily, the fix is simple.
Every picture mode, even Vivid, was very dim and shadowy, which made viewing in brighter environments a bit difficult. Sony seems to have designed this particular OLED with darkened home theaters and living rooms in mind, but, fortunately, you can tweak the brightness settings in the main menu and either apply them to a single picture mode or across all TV settings.
