FIFA's core agenda included an overloaded global match calendar with too many games for elite players, a lack of physical and mental recovery periods and extreme playing conditions.

FIFPRO has accused FIFA of systematically ignoring and silencing player concerns, undermining the game through an autocratic governance system and producing an overloaded match calendar.

It's important they now come together to find a resolution to this which is comfortable for everyone.
