First of all, a base game update is set to arrive on September 18 on PC. The update will release five days later on console. This is an earlier release date than was originally planned, which is intended to help the team correct for errors and problems across the multitude of Sims players' set-ups and configs. Additionally, modders and content creators can use the extra time to update their offerings ahead of the upcoming expansion Adventure Awaits.
