Searchlight Pictures debuted a new trailer for "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come," picking up where the first movie left off, as Grace (Samara Weaving) reaches the next level of the gruesome game. "By surviving hide and seek, you've triggered a new game, this time, against the High Council families," said The Lawyer (Elijah Wood) in the first trailer. It's a game of survival, only this time, her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) is by her side.
The sequel to the 2019 Searchlight Pictures fan-favorite horror comedy follows Samara Weaving reprising her role as Grace, who ends up in another murderous game. In the trailer, Grace realizes the nightmare isn't over after surviving the Le Domas family's attack on her wedding night. At least this time around, her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) is by her side. Grace has one opportunity to survive and keep her sister alive, as well as taking the High Seat of the Council that controls the world.
The 2019 comedy-horror film centers on an unsuspecting bride, Grace (Samara Weaving), who gets caught up in her new aristocratic in-laws' twisted game night and must fight for her survival. It was ahead of its time, all considered, blending class commentary and yucky gore long before something like The Menu or Blink Twice. Weaving is a world-class scream queen, and the film ushered in what we now know to be the Adam Brody-ssance.
