Absolutely not. I don't think anyone is but I don't really know when else to put it in to be honest. I mean you're asking players to cut their offseason short when everyone's just had competitions and Euros and traveling across the world. And then we come in after very limited time off and have to play again.
It takes a lot of brain power to plan a first date. It all starts with figuring out the vibe. Do you want dinner? Drinks? Dinner and drinks? And where do you want to go? Once that's settled, you and your match have to agree on the day, and it can be surprisingly tricky to land on one that feels right.
The dates for the inaugural Club World Cup were approved by the FIFA Council in December. The tournament is set to run in the middle of the English domestic calendar -- which will also impact several leagues across Europe including Spain, France and Germany. A spokesperson for the WSL said holding the tournament in January is "at best inconvenient, and at worst, catastrophic" for the domestic game in England, commercially and for player welfare.
That approach worked but it was never ideal. Background tasks are not an edge case. They are a fundamental part of almost every non-trivial web application. Leaving this unavoidable slice entirely to third-party tooling meant that every serious Django project had to make its own choices, each with its own trade-offs, infrastructure requirements, and failure modes. It's one more thing that makes Django complex to deploy.
Lately, I've tried more overhyped, overly ambitious apps than I can even remember - all of 'em with lofty promises of completely changing my life and/or the way I get stuff done. Spoiler alert: None of those has lived up to that promise or really even stuck as something I'm still actively using in any significant way, as of this current moment.
Acuity is a platform that allows you to sell and manage services like virtual consultations, in-person appointments, or classes-you could use it to manage a yoga studio, salon, personal training practice, or landscaping business. It also helps in taking some of the more annoying responsibilities off the business owner's plate, with automatic appointment updates for the client, and letting clients book, reschedule, or cancel appointments through the platform, rather than, say, by texting the owner a bunch of times.
And unlike any other chore or fitness enterprise, you conceive it more as self-indulgence than self-improvement, and as such, even if you're already in a relationship, it's hard to find that chin-out determination to get it done. Yet sex is an appetite like any other, a necessity like any other, a nourishment like any other. If you let it go dormant the effect on your relationship might be as if one or both of you are on a permanent diet and also lonely.
Note, as we discuss at the very end of this, we're wondering when/if you think we should record next week. We could do it on Wednesday, Friday, or not at all. Let us know! Also, here's that graphic Nicole mentioned, which shows that we're firing cancer researchers and VA nurses and replacing them with ICE goons. For those MLS fans out there who want some stunning and surprising upsets, they'll have to wait just a bit longer in this year's playoffs. In the Western Conference, the top four seeds went through with San Diego FC, the Vancouver Whitecaps, LAFC and Minnesota United FC all surpassing lower seeds, and in the case of Los Angeles and Vancouver, they needed just two games to win their series.
At Buffer, we build with customers, not just for them. If you've seen my LinkedIn posts asking for quick chats, that's why. Real conversations sharpen our product thinking, so whenever we start exploring a new idea, we talk to the people using Buffer every day. As a product manager focused on how our users create content, these conversations are particularly helpful in understanding how users come up with ideas and where Buffer fits into their workflows.
A Gantt chart is a project management tool that helps you visualize timelines for your project at a glance. It lists the project tasks that need to be completed down the left column and dates across the top row. A bar represents the duration of each task, so you can see at once when each task will begin and end. The visual makes it easy to plan a project and set realistic delivery dates because you can assign realistic start and finish dates for tasks that are contingent on the completion of other tasks.

You had the perfect story idea, a limited-time offer, and your audience was active. But by the time you posted, half your viewers had logged off. That timing gap? It's where opportunities quietly disappear-unless you schedule Instagram stories ahead to match peak audience activity. Instagram Stories are essential in driving engagement and conversions, but only if your content shows up when your target audience is all logged in and active.
Athletics directors are scheduled Monday in Charlotte to discuss the details of what will either be a move to a nine-game conference slate with one additional Power Four game required out of conference or an "8+2" model that would provide more flexibility to schools who already have an annual non-conference rival. "The ACC committing to go to 10 Power Four games is a big step forward," Clemson athletics director Graham Neff said. "It's indicative of where college football is and leans into emphasizing the importance of strength of schedule and more Power Four matchups."
With Supercal's group scheduling feature, you can email a group of people and CC the service's AI, which reads everyone's calendars, finds a time that works for all, books the meeting, and replies to the email thread with the details. Or when you're just staring blankly, muttering to yourself, "What even happened to that task I swore I had sorted out?" Seriously, I've been there. A token of appreciation is needed for anyone who has survived that level of chaos. Maybe a medal? Or just some comfort snacks. Anyway, I'm here to tell you there's hope *automatic planning and scheduling* is that beacon of light we didn't know we needed!
We've seen proposals for four team divisions. There have been people mentioning 8 team divisions if/when MLB expands to 32 teams. Your typical AL/NL north, south, east, and west divisions. Moving teams across leagues? Eliminating the leagues all together! All of these ideas have pluses and minuses. Anything that really only works with expansion should have to wait until there actually is expansion.
React allows multiple updates to be batched together, which minimizes the number of render passes and significantly improves performance in applications. With this optimization, developers can create smoother and more efficient user interfaces by reducing the number of times components are rendered.
