"While he's been out, I think [Kasparas Jakucionis] and [Dru Smith] have done a very good job with (team's point of attack defense, pace)," Spoelstra said, according to Clutch Points' Zachary Weinberger. "We miss him, but we want to be smart about it. ... We're going to continue to treat him. He's doing more and more on the court, and when he's ready, he'll be ready."
"For the last year, I lost my mind trying to focus on the things I can do," Allen told UFC.com. "My life is very career-driven, and I love my career - I want to give it that push and achieve my goals - so I'd be a liar if I didn't admit I was pissed off in that sense, and I'd also be a liar if I didn't say it trickles into my personal life sometimes."
Madrigal spent the entire 2025 season on the injured list. He'd signed a $1.35MM free agent deal with the Mets to compete for a utility job. The Mets dropped him from the roster at the beginning of the offseason.
Before the Dricus fight, I was f-king riding with [motocross athlete] Axell Hodges and I broke my shoulder," Strickland said. "So I was in Colombia getting stem cells on my shoulder and they hit me up for the fight. The thing with the UFC, you don't say no. They are pimps. You don't say no to the masters. So I was kind of backed up into a corner taking that fight.

The fact that they face their local rivals in the first game of the year will only serve as added motivation.

Mercogliano of The Athletic, who first reported that Fox was being placed on LTIR, the Rangers will reevaluate him around Christmas.

I had to take all the strong medications to be able to play the match.
Flagg finished with only two points on 1-of-9 shooting, two rebounds and no assists in 31 minutes, attributing his lackluster performance to being "flat" in the second game of his first NBA back-to-back. That wound up surfacing after Stewart made just four appearances for the Dodgers before going on the 15-day injured list due to right shoulder inflammation. There was optimism from Stewart and the Dodgers that his condition wasn't too severe and it would lend to a relatively quick recovery. Nevertheless, he wasn't projected to return until September.
He'll be activated from the 60-day injured list. Minnesota already has two vacancies on the 40-man roster, so they'll only need to option a pitcher to create an active roster spot. Minnesota sent him to Triple-A St. Paul for a rehab start on August 28. Festa struck out five over 2 2/3 scoreless innings. It seems he came out of the appearance with renewed shoulder pain. That'll shut him down for the year. The Twins will hope there's nothing structurally amiss that'll impact his availability for 2026.
It was the 22-year-old's first career retirement and came as he led by two sets to one before disaster struck late in the third.
