If I'm reading this correctly, you have a few cars on the street and the neighbors have a few cars on the street, but you don't want them to park on the street.

Oakland will join several other Northern California cities that have begun enforcing street parking fees on Sundays, an effort to boost public revenues and commercial activity in the cash-strapped city. Starting Jan. 4, Oakland residents who fail to feed the city-run street meters and parking kiosks between noon and 6 p.m. Sunday will receive a warning, officials said. After 30 days, the city will begin issuing tickets.
