Sutton United have signed Hartlepool United's Grenada international winger Jermaine Francis for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old, who has won 15 international caps for the Caribbean nation, is the 10th new player to join the club since Chris Agutter took over as head coach in October. Francis, who has also had spells at Braintree and Chelmsford, scored three goals in 22 National League appearances for Hartlepool after joining them last summer.
Head coach Steve Morison has left Sutton United by mutual consent with the side 22nd in the National League table. Sutton have won once in nine league matches this season, with the 3-2 home defeat by Tamworth proving to be Morison's final game in charge. The 42-year-old was appointed in January 2024 and guided the club to 12th in the table last season.
