NFL Players Association representatives vote this weekend on a successor to disgraced leader Lloyd Howell, with JC Tretter among three finalists despite previously declining interest in the executive director role.

The NFLPA executive committee has identified three finalists for permanent executive director: interim director David White, former chief strategy officer JC Tretter, and American Conference commissioner Tim Pernetti, with player representatives voting next month.
