At the Meta Connect event earlier this year, Meta announced that not only would it discontinue the 128GB version of the Meta Quest 3 VR headset, it would also drop the price of the to $500. That's a $150 discount on one of the best VR headsets on the market for both gaming and office productivity.
According to Lynch, both the Steam Controller 2, codenamed "Ibex," and a controller for the unconfirmed Deckard VR headset—codenamed "Roy"—are under development at Valve. Both products are reportedly "being tooled for a mass production goal in [Valve's] factories right now," he claims, indicating that they are in advanced stages of productization and may soon be released to consumers.
