Milan Primavera 7-2 Cesena: Lontani scores hat-trick in trashing of top side
"Milan started the game really well and had several chances to take the lead early on. They didn't have to wait long for the opener, though, as Simone Lontani found the back of the net in the 18th minute after great work by the star Filippo Scotti. Less than ten minutes later, Milan struck again as Lontani scored with a nice header, making the most of an even better Nirash Perera cross."
"In the 83rd minute, Milan killed the game through Lontani, who thus managed to get his hat-trick. Once again, it was great work from Scotti to set up his teammates and while the first shot hit the post, he made no mistakes with the rebound. Milan easily could have seen the final minutes out but instead, they made it five goals through Tommaso Mancioppi in the 87th minute."
Milan Primavera beat Cesena 7-3, improving goal difference. Milan started strongly and created several early chances before Simone Lontani opened the scoring in the 18th minute following Filippo Scotti's build-up. Lontani doubled the lead within ten minutes with a header from a Nirash Perera cross. Lorenzo Ossola scored before halftime through a calm finish assisted by Filippo Plazzotta, and Cesena pulled one back in the final minute of the half. Milan maintained pressure after the break; Alessandro Longoni made a key save in the 68th minute, and Lontani completed a hat-trick in the 83rd minute. Tommaso Mancioppi and Alex Castiello added late goals, and Milan climbed to seventh place.
