"For hydration, a reservoir carries up to 2 liters of fluid while maintaining body contact and stability across rough terrain, eliminating the jostling and bouncing issues of some external packs. It slides into a lightweight mesh sleeve on the outside of the upper back, making it easy to swap (assuming you have a pit crew or buddy to assist) or refill mid-race."
"For aerodynamics, the suit builds on Q36.5's Dottore Pro skinsuit platform, combining aerodynamic Dottore Pro woven leg panels with a body-mapped, multi-fabric upper that balances airflow and thermoregulation more so than the full-aero road version."
"The upcoming Q36.5 Adventure Racing Hydration Skinsuit is purpose-built for long-distance gravel racing thanks to an integrated, proprietary hydration system. It's more than just a bladder stuffed into a sleeve, though, and it's been raced in the Cape Epic and this past weekend's Traka gravel epic to prove its point."
The Q36.5 Adventure Racing Hydration Skinsuit is designed for long-distance gravel racing with an integrated hydration system. A reservoir holds up to 2 liters of fluid while maintaining body contact and stability over rough terrain, reducing jostling and bouncing compared with some external packs. The reservoir slides into a lightweight mesh sleeve on the outside of the upper back, allowing easier swapping with assistance and mid-race refilling. Aerodynamics are based on the Dottore Pro skinsuit platform, using aerodynamic woven leg panels and a body-mapped, multi-fabric upper to balance airflow and thermoregulation more than the full-aero road version. The product is currently in development with an early 2027 release planned.
