Jonathan Daveiga, 27, of Wayland, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence after Massachusetts State Police responded to a single-car crash at the Leverett Circle intersection on Oct. 19. Officers found his gray Jeep Grand Cherokee on the curb with the front panel pressed against a 'no left turn' sign. Troopers cited the odor of alcohol, slurred speech, and vomit inside and outside the vehicle. He refused a portable breathalyzer test, faces a separate failing-to-stop-or-yield charge, pleaded not guilty, was released on personal recognizance, and was placed on modified duty.
