"They were pressing hard there, and I thought our line did a great job all night of getting into the O-Zone and making plays so it felt like we were due for one there. Happy that it came at a crucial time."
"the best player on the ice"
"It's great, that's my goal as a player. Continuing to build on that and earn that trust, earn those minutes, that's why I play the game."
Fraser Minten was a top prospect in the Toronto Maple Leafs pipeline before being traded to the Boston Bruins in the deal that sent Brandon Carlo to Toronto. He returned to Toronto for the first time since the trade and scored a late third-period insurance goal that secured a 4-3 Bruins victory, marking Boston's sixth straight win. The goal was Minten's third of the season and came with many family and friends in attendance. Coach Marco Sturm called Minten "the best player on the ice." Minten emphasized earning trust and minutes as his ongoing goals. He made his NHL debut in 2023-24 and this season is his first as an NHL regular.
