NBA insider: Atlanta Hawks were interested in trade for Jaylen Brown last year

NBA insider Chris Mannix reported that the Atlanta Hawks contacted the Celtics last offseason about a potential trade for Brown, but talks stalled because the Hawks were wary of the contract size and Boston was not looking to trade him. Mannix said the Hawks could revisit the idea, and other teams pursuing major free-agent targets could also consider Brown, making his situation worth monitoring.
