Four Watsonville High School students were arrested after two separate morning incidents on campus. A 16-year-old male student stabbed a 14-year-old student and a faculty member who intervened; both victims received aid from officers, firefighters and school staff and ambulances arrived. The campus and nearby Linscott Charter School were placed on lockdown, Lincoln Street was closed during the investigation, and classes were canceled for the day. Soon after, a different student fled the stabbing scene, gathered two other students and attacked another 14-year-old. Three students — a 14-year-old and two 15-year-olds — were arrested in the subsequent battery incident.
