The collision occurred around 1:10 p.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway near the 15 Freeway interchange when a big rig failed to brake as traffic slowed, triggering an eight-vehicle pile-up involving four semi-trucks and four passenger cars. Dashboard camera footage shows the truck striking multiple vehicles and a passenger car igniting. Three people were killed at the scene and four were hospitalized.
