Rascoff viewed the company’s products as built for Gen Z and believed young interns could contribute by being present, engaging with colleagues, and supporting the business. He moved quickly to restart Tinder’s summer “Tindership” internship without a large advertising campaign, instead sharing the opportunity through his social channels and posting it on the company site. The program drew immediate demand, with more than 30,000 Gen Z candidates applying for 27 seats, resulting in a 0.09% acceptance rate.
