A motorist in Broadford, Co Kildare, was caught travelling 134kmh in an 80kmh zone on R148, while a driver in Santry, Co Dublin, was travelling 91kmh in a 50kmh zone. There was one fatality on Irish roads during this period, while eight people were seriously injured in seven serious collisions."
