Michael Canter announced he is permanently stepping down from his post after a decade of near-constant contributions; his music and baseball knowledge and distinctive style built a loyal readership. Canter said he will retire immediately from producing long-form pieces and shift to a reduced, informal role. The site plans to continue his Rundown feature with the site operator temporarily taking over duties. The Rundown originally began with Bryan O'Donne.
