New Philz Coffee location to offer drive-thru for the first time in Northern California
"It's time to get your pour-over while you're pulled over. Philz Coffee opened a new location in Pleasanton last week, marking the coffee chain's first-ever drive-thru location in Northern California. The new location will still welcome guests inside, with seating for 35 people, but its the outside of the store that should be the most eye-catching. There are custom-designed murals by California artist Lauren Cooper, with art paying homage to local landmarks including Pleasanton Ridge, the downtown Pleasanton arch and the Alameda County Fair's horse track."
"And the drive-thru lane ought to catch some attention, if only to see how quickly a drive-thru can move customers along while serving pour-over coffee that typically takes a few minutes per cup to brew. The California-based company now has 79 locations in total, but this is just the second-ever with a drive-thru lane. Details: Open Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 1803 Santa Rita Rd. in Pleasanton; philzcoffee.com."
