"The first rain warning will be in place in Cork and Kerry overnight from midnight, lasting until 2pm on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a separate rain warning has been issued for Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow, and Tipperary from 2am until 5pm tomorrow. All eight counties are expected to see heavy rain, with the national forecaster warning of possible localised flooding, difficult travel conditions and poor visibility in the affected areas."
"It will later spread northwards to all areas overnight, with spot flooding in places, Met Éireann has warned. Temperatures will drop overnight to 1 and 7C, becoming the coldest in Ulster before the rain arrives. Tuesday might continue wet, with persistent and heavy rain in many areas across the county, bringing a risk of spot flooding. However, rain will gradually clear to the north through the late afternoon and evening, with only a few showers following."
Status Yellow rain warnings will affect Cork and Kerry from midnight until 2pm Tuesday and Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow and Tipperary from 2am until 5pm. Heavy rain is expected across all eight counties with a risk of localised flooding, difficult travel conditions and poor visibility. Rain will develop in the southwest overnight and spread northwards to all areas. Temperatures tonight will fall to between 1 and 7C, then rise to 11–14C on Tuesday with strong winds on southeast and east coasts. Rain will gradually clear to the north late Tuesday afternoon and evening, leaving a few showers.
