"Mills joins the Dodgers for the first time after posting a 3.26 ERA across 19.1 innings with 28 strikeouts for the Comets. He previously signed a Minor League deal with the Dodgers in Aug. 2025 and spent Spring Training with the team before being a March roster cut."
The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Wyatt Mills’ contract and optioned Paul Gervase ahead of their series finale against the Atlanta Braves. To create space for Mills on the 40-man roster, Edwin Díaz was transferred to the 60-day injured list. Díaz is expected to miss about three months after right elbow surgery, with the move not changing his projected timeline. Paul Gervase was called up on May 8 as the corresponding move for Tyler Glasnow landing on the injured list. Gervase pitched three innings in a 7-2 loss, allowing one run on four hits with five strikeouts and one walk, and made only one appearance for the Dodgers in 2025. Mills joins after posting a 3.26 ERA over 19.1 innings with 28 strikeouts for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
