"There are bedsheets that have human feces and urine on them. You can smell the human waste while you're out there standing near it."
"You look up and down the roadway, and everywhere else is completely clear. The trash is only at our entrance."
"Nobody puts human feces in a regular trash bag and drives it on the back of a truck to the dump. It definitely feels personal."
Kevin Graham and his husband Dragan Kurbalija found medical waste, bedsheets with human feces and urine, and other trash strewn across the entrance of their 27-acre Gardening Gays Farm in King George County, Virginia. The debris was concentrated only at their driveway, leading the couple to believe the act was intentional anti-LGBTQ+ harassment. The couple purchased the farm four years ago and recently received county awards for Best Business, Best Family-Owned Business, and Best Agricultural Business. The farm experienced a prior trashing incident weeks earlier, and the latest incident occurred after a Democratic electoral sweep.
