Ian Curtis exhibition coming to NYC this summer
"The Ian Curtis archive is of national significance, and Joy Division are one of the UK's most important and iconic bands. The exhibition in New York forms part of a series, showcasing the archive and promoting the University's 'From Manchester for the world' strategy."
An exhibition of Ian Curtis's archival material, including handwritten lyrics and personal letters, is set to open in NYC at the Voltz Clarke Gallery from June 22 to July 25. The exhibition, titled 'Ian Curtis: Insight,' features artifacts from the Ian Curtis archive at The John Rylands Library at The University of Manchester, part of the British Pop Archive. The gallery is open Monday to Friday and Saturdays, with hours from 10 AM - 6 PM and 12 PM - 5 PM respectively.
