Avon and Somerset Police later confirmed that a 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in the West Midlands area on Friday. Police said inquiries into Tony’s death had been progressing well since Tuesday and that specially trained officers were supporting his family. Tony’s family released a statement describing him as a much-loved son, brother, and uncle, expressing shock at his death and requesting privacy while they come to terms with what happened.
