Essa Suleiman, 45, has been charged with the attempted murders of three individuals during two knife attacks in London. The first attack occurred in Southwark, where he stabbed Ishmail Hussein over a personal dispute. He then traveled to Golders Green, attacking two Jewish men, Shloime Rand and 76-year-old Norman Shine, who were identifiable as Orthodox Jews. A bystander attempted to intervene during the attack on Shine. Suleiman was arrested after officers used a stun gun and required hospital treatment for a medical episode. He has been remanded in custody pending further hearings.
