Third charged with murder after man stabbed to death

"The Metropolitan Police were called to Saint George's Road in Leyton at about 00:40 BST on 23 April, following reports of an argument involving a group of people. Suhayb Abdulkadi was found with stab wounds and died at the scene. His family said he "lit up every room he entered and put a smile on the faces of even those who did not know him"."

"Faruq Ismail, 25, of Eclipse Road in Plaistow, was arrested on Monday and will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court later today. Abdullahi Abdi, 24, of Lincoln Street in Leytonstone, and Hanet Ahmed, 25, were charged with murder on 26 April and were both remanded in custody. They are next due to appear at the Old Bailey on 15 July."

"In a statement paying tribute to him, Abdulkadi's family added: "Although his death has been devastating, it has been heartwarming to hear the many stories from people from all walks of life sharing the massive impact he has had on them. "His presence, warmth and kindness will never be forgotten, and he has left an everlasting impact on all those who were fortunate to know him. "We love you immensely, Suhayb, more than you know, and we cannot wait for you to be reunited with your brother.""

"Another man, 24, was released on bail, while a fifth man, 22, was released under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Metropolitan Police on 101, quoting reference number 219/23APR. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
