Southern Section boys volleyball playoff semifinals were completed across multiple divisions, with several teams winning in five sets and others in straight sets. Division 1 featured Mira Costa defeating Huntington Beach 3-2 and Loyola defeating Redondo Union 3-2. Division 2 included Orange Lutheran over St. Margaret’s 3-1 and Edison over Camarillo 3-2. Division 3 saw St. John Bosco beat Palos Verdes 3-2 and Windward defeat Foothill 3-1. Division 4 included Royal over Village Christian 3-1 and Sunny Hills over Crossroads 3-2. Division 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 also produced 3-1 or 3-2 outcomes. Finals are scheduled May 15-16 with sites and times to be announced.
