Trey Yesavage, 22, struck out 12 batters without issuing a walk, becoming the first pitcher in World Series history to do so, and allowed one run on three hits across seven innings. Davis Schneider homered on the first pitch of the game. Yesavage made his major league debut in September and began the year pitching in the minor leagues. Yesavage has now started and won two of Toronto's three World Series victories.
