He watched games from his longtime home in the unincorporated Florence-Graham neighborhood and learned to love the Dodgers anew. But he didn't cheer like before. Contreras followed doctor's orders to stay calm when the Dodgers were losing instead of cursing like the past and quietly applaud when the team was winning when he would've previously roared."
