"A unique scoring system will turn every hole into a chance for players to climb the leaderboard. Using a modified Stableford point-based scoring system, every individual plays their own ball, with the team using the best ball and earning points for their score on each hole. The team with the most points wins the tournament, and the top three teams earn monetary donations to the charities of their choice."
""For years we've wanted to create this truly one-of-a-kind offseason golf experience for players and fans, but it took the support of key partners in Capital One, MGM Resorts and TNT Sports to bring everything together," MLB deputy commissioner of business and media Noah Garden said. "Now with this unique and competitive event in an exceptional location, we can showcase more of our players and allow their personalities to shine in a setting where fans haven't seen them before.""
