Professional freerider Adolf Silva crashed during a double backflip attempt at Red Bull Rampage and was airlifted from the Utah venue. Photos of Silva in a hospital bed circulated before medical details were released. Road 2 Recovery reported that Silva suffered a serious spinal injury and currently has no sensation below the chest. Road 2 Recovery stated that it is too early to know long-term outcomes and that Silva's spirit remains strong. The organization noted Silva's previous comeback from a coma and broken femur. A fundraiser has been established to support Silva's recovery. Silva posted a YouTube update reporting a broken T2.
