Heat's summer of Giannis just got that much more difficult to navigate

Moving into the top 4 would've given the Heat an asset that no other team in the Giannis sweepstakes would've been able to put on the table."

"Despite getting the lifeline that the Heat was hoping for at the NBA Draft Lottery, the team's seemingly never-ending pursuit of Giannis will continue ahead this offseason. And whether most are willing to believe it or not, the Heat is expected to have the ability to put one of the better trade offers on the table. Including the rights to their 13th overall pick, the Heat will be able to include 3-4 first-round picks in an offer for Giannis."

"That will be on top of Kel'el Ware, Tyler Herro, and perhaps another young prospect or two. Whether that would be enough to appease the Milwaukee Bucks remains to be seen, but the Heat will certainly be in the thick of the race for Giannis (assuming he hits the trade block again).
