Public order gardaí with riot shields will be deployed for a third night in response to violent incidents in Saggart, west Dublin. Over 30 people have been arrested across two nights, with 23 appearing before the District Court. Four gardaí were hospitalised after receiving injuries during the disturbances. Five boys aged under 18 were arrested and later released. Authorities seized 15 e-scooters and e-bikes during operations. More than 300 gardaí have been deployed each night, including the public order unit. Community campaigners urged people to take a break from protesting and to stay home to avoid further tension.
