"Gardaí in Co Longford are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man with serious injuries in Drumlish, Co Longford on 8th November 2025," said a garda spokesperson."
"At approximately 7:30pm on that date, the man aged in his 60s was taken by ambulance to Mullingar General Hospital, where his condition is described as critical"."
"Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Currabawn/Mohill road, Drumlish area between 7:00pm on Wednesday, 5th November 2025 and 6:30pm on Saturday, 8th November are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí," said a garda spokesperson."
A man in his 60s was discovered with serious injuries in Drumlish on 8 November 2025 and was taken to Mullingar hospital where his condition is described as critical. The man sustained a head injury and is under medical care in the ICU. Gardaí in County Longford conducted a technical examination of the scene and are investigating all circumstances surrounding the discovery. The man’s last known movements were at Currabawn around 7:00pm on 5 November 2025. Road users with camera or dash-cam footage from Currabawn/Mohill road between 5 Nov 7:00pm and 8 Nov 6:30pm are asked to come forward.
