Vertiv appointed Paul Ryan as president for EMEA effective January 1, with Karsten Winther retiring and remaining in role until December 31 to support transition. Winther joined in 2018 and advanced from regional sales leadership to head the EMEA business, driving strategy, operations and regional profitability. Ryan brings more than 20 years of industry experience, including over eight years in procurement leadership at Vertiv and nearly six years as vice president of global procurement and supply chain. Ryan led a "significant transformation" of procurement, strengthened supply chain resilience and continuity, and improved service levels. Ryan previously held senior leadership roles at Emerson Network Power.
