The 2025 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies returned to Los Angeles on Nov. 8, featuring a mix of younger and more diverse inductees alongside classic icons. Inductees included Soundgarden, Outkast, The White Stripes and Salt-n-Pepa as well as Bad Company, Joe Cocker, Chubby Checker and Warren Zevon. Cyndi Lauper was inducted for performance or musical influence and delivered a colorful, boundary-crossing set. Jack White appeared onstage while Meg White was absent, and Iggy Pop participated as an inductor. Toni Cornell performed for Soundgarden’s induction, and Salt, Pepa and DJ Spinderella performed for Salt-n-Pepa. Flea and Beck performed a tribute to Sly Stone.
