Isiah Pacheco sprained a knee ligament and did not practice Wednesday, making him expected to miss the Chiefs' game against the Bills. Pacheco has 329 rushing yards through eight weeks and left Monday's win after carrying 12 times for 58 yards. Kareem Hunt is set to assume a larger workload, with Brashard Smith and Elijah Mitchell as additional backs. Hunt has been primarily a short-yardage back and helped the Chiefs convert 14 of 16 fourth-down attempts with Patrick Mahomes. Hunt returned last season after Pacheco's injury, signed a $1.5 million deal in March, and faces questions about sustaining more carries.
