Falcons reportedly signing OL Andrew Stueber
"It is a bit surprising that it's not a promoted practice squad player, but it is a familiar face. Andrew Stueber had joined Atlanta in June 2024, stuck around through final cuts, and then landed on the Falcons practice squad. In early October of last year, the Bengals poached him off the practice squad and he appeared in seven games for them; he was among their final cuts in August of this year."
"Stueber is unlikely to play this weekend, but the Falcons liked him enough to carry him on the practice squad not all that long ago, so it's no great stunner they'd like another look here. Stueber will be a break glass in case of emergency option in the short-term with a chance to push his way into the conversation over time if injuries persist; at the moment I'd expect any guard injuries to result in Kyle Hinton and Jovaughn Gwyn getting time in the game,"
Multiple Falcons offensive linemen are injured or unavailable, including Storm Norton still sidelined and Chris Lindstrom and Matthew Bergeron exiting Week 9. Atlanta signed Andrew Stueber, who joined the team in June 2024, survived final cuts to land on the Falcons practice squad, and later appeared in seven games for the Bengals after they signed him from the practice squad. Stueber is unlikely to play immediately and will serve as an emergency depth option while Kyle Hinton and Jovaughn Gwyn are expected to receive guard snaps. If Norton returns, several backups will compete for roster or practice-squad spots.
