Flacco 'good' but still questionable vs. Bears
"pretty good"
"I thought he did a nice job out there,"
"I saw what we would hope to see for a guy to be able to play on Sunday. Now we'll just work through the next few days to see where it ends up."
"Everybody is ready to roll,"
Joe Flacco is recovering from a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder and felt "pretty good" after throwing ahead of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. Midweek practice activity suggested he is trending favorably, and Bengals coach Zac Taylor said he saw what would be expected for a player to be able to play on Sunday while noting the team will monitor him over the next few days. Flacco will be officially listed as questionable. He was in uniform Friday but was a spectator during the open portion of practice, with backup Jake Browning taking reps. Flacco has thrown seven touchdowns and no interceptions since joining the team via trade before Week 6, and he expressed a desire to play while acknowledging the injury can improve day to day but also be aggravated.
