"I don't feel like I got hit,"
"When you've got James Cook, just let him cook,"
"celebrates hard."
James Cook rushed for 216 yards in a 40-9 Buffalo Bills win over the Carolina Panthers, the most by a Bills player since O.J. Simpson in 1976 and the sixth-most in franchise history. Cook gained 168 yards before first contact, the most by a Bills player since ESPN began tracking yards after contact in 2009. The offensive line consistently opened lanes that fueled Cook’s breakout. The Bills avoided a three-game losing streak and exited the bye week with momentum. Josh Allen scored two rushing touchdowns and one passing touchdown and set the NFL record for games with both a rushing and passing touchdown (46).
